It quickly to sweet corn, straw and clover honey followed by a slight hint of peppercorn spice and malted milk ball. The Taste is warms into sweet corn and butter cookie with little lemon peel and a slightly herbal finish. The oak from the barrel is there up front and smoky, but seems to change to nice bittersweet chocolate as it finishes out. The Finish coats your pallet and dissipates quickly with a medium to short finish that a bit of warm spice before it disappears.
